By Country
Here is the table based on aggregating scientists by the
country where they work. This is the easiest table to produce
as the ISI use 185 countries. Only 27 countries have highly
cited scientists however and there are no ambiguities with
respect to identifying these in the two GIS systems that we
used for this work -. MapInfo Professional Version 5 and ArcView
3.2. As before, we have put the maps on a separate page and
the rank size distributions are shown with those for institutions
and countries on a separate page too. See the panel on the
right.
