Role
of the EDC
The Estate
Development Committee (EDC) is now involved in the following
decision making:
- The
process of appointing partners to carry out the refurbishment
and new build
- A role
with the council in selection of the partners
- Input
to the development of the Planning Brief for Woodberry Down
- Phasing
of the programme
- Monitoring
the spending on the SRB funding
- Setting
common standards across Woodberry Down for the regeneration
- Developing
ideas on the use and management of open spaces on Woodberry
Down
- Developing
ideas on the community benefit from local assets
We envisage
that the central steering group could also be responsible
to the SRB6 Board in the form of a housing sub group.
