to Woodberry Down
Woodberry Down Regeneration Team (WDRT) is a part of
Hackney Council and has been working for
2 years towards the long-term improvement of all homes
in the blocks of the Woodberry Down and neighbouring
estates (see maps A3a). We will need to provide new
and refurbished housing and possibly improve facilities
for health, education, and
other services in the area. This is called regeneration
and will only be successful if we work with the energy,
spirit and enthusiasm
of local people. It will ensure that Woodberry Down
becomes a place where people want to stay, work and
visit in the future.
