Online Planning has developed into a new on-line journal from the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University College London. It has been set up to both focus and advance academic discussion on issues raised by developing an on-line planning system. Over the coming months the journal will be running features aimed at developing an understanding of the issues and techniques required to place the planning system on-line. Features will range from the on-line development plan and virtual reality urban modelling to the impact of on-line commerce on patterns of landuse.
