EPSRC
Taught Courses in Complexity Science and Complex Systems
EPSRC
is funding a number of courses for interested researchers that are new to complexity
science and complex systems. The courses, running in 2006, are for new researchers
and for those with more experience who want to find out more about the underlying
concepts in this emerging research area. The courses will also provide an opportunity
for networking with researchers from complementary fields.
- Embracing
complexity in science and society a taught course for build environment
researchers (Universities of Liverpool
and Salford)
- From
individual to collective behaviour in large-scale complex systems
(University of Manchester)
- Modelling
across the scales (University of Bath)
- Taught
course on complex networks: analysis, control and applications
(University of Bristol)
- Taught
course on dynamics of complex systems: emergent phenomena via separation of
scales in time and
space (Imperial College London)
